Medical and nursing teams in Hama have begun implementing a school vaccination campaign for the 2019-2020 school year for first and sixth grade students to complete their vaccination and immunization against diseases in the villages of the northwestern Hama countryside, adjacent to the spread of terrorist organizations.

Dr. Anwar Kasir Ali, head of the medical point in the village, told SANA that the point is supervising the implementation of the vaccine campaign in the villages of Naour Shatah, Farika, Nabil al-Khatib, Ain Salimo, Kharab al-Sheikh, Kharab Ketazu, Ain Goren, Goren, Naour Goren, Ain al-Hamam, Baraka and al-Hessa located in the far northwestern strip. Adjacent to villages where Takfiri organizations are scattered.

Ali pointed out that despite the seriousness of the situation and the exposure of vaccination teams to terrorist attacks, they have shown courage and determination to implement the campaign and ensure its success and keenness on the health and safety of students in the north-western countryside of Hama.

In turn, the Director of Education Hama Yahya Munjed that the campaign of vaccination school covers the various regions of the province, especially in the north-western countryside of Hama and targeting students in the first and sixth grades , which is estimated at more than 85 thousand.

Dr. Ayman Adi, head of the school health department, pointed out that the vaccines given to first grade students are oral paralysis, in addition to two children, tetanus and diphtheria.

Nurse Rashad Shrouf, working at the medical point in Fraika, said the campaign, which lasts until the 21st of this month, is a continuation of the vaccines given to children in their early years and necessary to immunize them against serious diseases that threaten their future health if they do not receive these vaccines.
