Thus, the people forced into the vehicle were 34 men, 16 women and two minors from Sub-Saharan Africa. Four migrants were injured and taken to hospital. The Moroccan driver was arrested, as the newspaper "El Faro de Ceuta" reported.

The phenomenon of ramming through the border with a car, there is already since 2013. However, it has so far been smaller vehicles with few inmates, police said.

Spain has two non-European territories in North Africa, Ceuta and Melilla. Near the two areas, tens of thousands of Africans are waiting for an opportunity to enter the EU.
