The cultivation of Homs begins by selling olive seedlings to farmers

The Directorate of Agriculture in Homs started the process of selling olive planters to farmers in the olive production center in Mokhtaria at a price of 300 Syrian pounds for the planting.

Engineer Younis Hamdan, head of the plant production department in Homs Agriculture Directorate, told SANA that the varieties are suitable, good, reliable and free from diseases and are sold through extension units.

Hamdan pointed out that the number of planes ready for sale 127 thousand implants, explaining that farmers whose land was cut and burned can be renewed by registering on the planter in the extension unit.

It is noteworthy that the preliminary estimates for the current season of olives exceed 90 thousand tons, an increase of 28 thousand tons from the previous season due to favorable weather and climatic conditions.
