The Consulate Office in Hama of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, which started its work nearly two years ago, has reduced a lot of effort, time and expenses on citizens who were forced before its creation to ratify their transactions in other provinces.In an effort to provide more facilities for citizens, the Office launched this year a package of new consular services.

In a statement to SANA reporter, the director of the office Najat Halabiyah said that the office provides consular services and certifying documents issued from outside and inside Syria, indicating that there are two types of normal documents, including civil affairs, passenger and return traffic to Syria, school documents, recruitment and public and private agencies documents issued. For the Ministry of Justice in addition to the service of ratification of external agencies such as marriage, divorce, recruitment and study agencies.

The Director of the Office revealed that one of the most important new services launched by the Office is the ratification of requests to visit the expatriate residing outside Syria and the lagging behind the flag service in addition to requests for obtaining residence bills for Syrian citizens who are inside Syria and have previously resided abroad in the past period to pay the cash allowance for the service of science.

Halabiya pointed out that the consular office in Hama has completed more than 90 thousand documents since the beginning of this year, compared to about 49 thousand for the same period of last year, which indicates the expansion of its activity and the launch of a stronger momentum two years after its opening, stressing that one of the most important steps that contribute to Upgrading its services is the completion of networking with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has been provided with all the necessary technical equipment and waiting for its implementation and put it into service and investment at the earliest opportunity by the concerned authorities in the Telecommunications Corporation and Hama Governorate after addressing the current technical and technical problems.

For his part, the Assistant Director of the Office Johnny Suleiman called for explaining the mechanism of the work of the Office of citizens and reviewers and consular services available to him to prevent any extortion by some of the dealers and vulnerable people.

Hani Kojic, the Certified Certification Officer, noted that the services provided by the office have had a positive impact on the citizens in terms of shortening the time and effort and the great facilities provided by them, especially for those who have obtained an expatriate visit document, pointing out that the office currently bears additional burdens and witnesses a large number of auditors. Among the people of the governorates of Hama, Idlib and Raqqa who work to complete their transactions and certify their documents, especially in the current circumstances as a result of the increasing number of Syrians living abroad.

The consular office in Hama, located in Assi Square next to the Cultural Center, joins consular offices that have already been opened in the governorates of Tartous, Aleppo, Homs, Latakia and Sweida.
