The Democratic Party Legislative Council member Yan Junyu said that he received a request from the first-aid volunteers in PolyU for assistance. There are still more than 20 volunteers in need of humanitarian assistance.

The Yan Junyu facebook page indicated that he had received a request from the first-aid of the PolyU. Some ambulancemen indicated that they would stay and assist the injured. They also issued a statement to the Hong Kong government and the police who expressed disappointment and disregard for the legitimate rights and interests of Hong Kong people. Yan Junyu urged the international community to pay attention to all citizens who are still trapped in the school.
