Demonstrators tried several times to break through and return to school

At 8:30 am yesterday (18th), demonstrators left the Chatham Road South and Science Museum Road respectively. The police then applied a number of tear gas bombs from various parties. However, even with the use of water guns and tear gas, the demonstrators left the direction of Chatham Road South and returned to the Polytechnic University via wire mesh. In addition, two more people were transferred from the University of Science and Technology to Kangda Trail and were arrested outside the Tsim Sha Tsui Ambulance Station.

At 1:30 pm, more than one hundred black men rushed out of the PolyU position, and the police immediately applied tear gas to the scene. The demonstrators were returned to the campus. Although some people successfully escaped from the roadblocks, only the police officers pointed their guns at the demonstrators and eventually subdued many people.

After the night, some demonstrators attempted to take a rope to the carriageway of Chatham Road South Flyover on the footbridge connecting the main campus and Block Z. There were two or three ropes at the same time. The ropes were hoisted to the road of the Chatham Road North Flyover Road, which was 6 to 8 meters high. About 10 motorcycles were connected.
