Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Abbas Araghchi reiterated Iran's determination to continue to reduce its commitments under the nuclear deal until its interests are achieved.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Araghchi as saying during a meeting with Dutch Foreign Minister Esteve Block that Iran's reduction of its obligations under the agreement is in accordance with its terms in order to safeguard the interests of the Iranian people, adding that these steps will continue until the fulfillment of Iran's rights.
For his part, Block pointed to the need to maintain the nuclear agreement.
After the unilateral US exit from the previous nuclear agreement last year, the European countries pledged to compensate for the effects of this matter and that Iran can benefit from the benefits of the nuclear agreement and despite the passage of about 18 months did not translate these promises on the ground.
