This Sunday (24th) was the polling day for the District Councils Election. The Chairman of the EAC, Mr Fung Wong, announced yesterday (19th) that four polling stations were required to change their locations due to security risks. The dissatisfaction of the Democratic Legislative Council member and the Southern District Council District Nuo Xuan has a remote location for the new polling station. It is extremely inconvenient for voters in the district to go to the polls, which will undermine the fairness of the election and the voters' willingness to vote.

The polling stations which are considered to be problematic are in the Pokfulam Constituency in Hong Kong. The Sha Tin Road Hall of the original ticketing station was changed to the Aberdeen Yuk Kiu Road Sports Centre.

There is no direct public transport on this journey. Unless there is a private car, the location is a slope and it is very inconvenient to park."

He believes that the arrangement will be highly detrimental to the fairness of the election and reduce the voter's preference. The EAC should consider other polling stations in the constituency as soon as possible or allow the residents of Sassou Road to vote at the remaining two polling stations in the Pokfulam Constituency.
