The governing body of the Muslim Scholars Association in Lebanon condemned the Israeli aggression against Syria.
The gathering condemned the barbarity of the enemy and the bombing of civilian neighborhoods in Damascus countryside and the use of Lebanese airspace to attack Syria, calling on the Lebanese Foreign Ministry to complain to the Security Council on this repeated violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
He also condemned the Syrian National Social Party in a statement of the Zionist aggression on Syrian territory, stressing that the axis of resistance has all elements of force to deter and respond to Israeli attacks.
"The persistence of the Zionist enemy in its arrogance and aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and all Palestine and its seizure of Lebanese airspace to target Syrian territory is a long-term condemned and dangerous escalation and will face escalation," the statement said.
After midnight yesterday, the air defense forces in the Syrian Army confronted an intensive Israeli aggression with missiles on the perimeter of Damascus and destroyed most of the missiles before reaching their targets.
