Within the framework of the government efforts to promote the return of normal life to areas free of terrorism and to enable the people to settle there, the Ministry of Interior today put the civil registry secretariats in the towns of Al-Qaryatayn and Al-Qusair in Homs countryside to serve after rehabilitation of 800 million pounds.
Khalid Mohammad Darawsheh, the head of the two villages, told SANA that after the liberation of the two villages, the court and five schools were re-established, while the electricity and communications networks are working well and work is being done to complete all services. The citizens who returned to the villages reached more than 14 thousand out of 40 thousand.
The head of the civil registry in Quseir, Lamy Anwar Kasouha, told SANA that the secretariat of the civil registry in Quseir has been renovated and restored.It serves about 150 thousand enrollments belonging to 52 villages, where it provides various services such as handing over a personal card, organizing a card, registering births, marriage, family books and everything related to the citizen.
The Minister of Interior also visited the José crossing, where he was briefed on the services provided by immigration and passports and the process of simplifying the measures taken at the border for the return of the displaced.
Talal al-Barazi, the governor of Homs, and the director of the civil registry in Homs, Ammar Ammar, participated in the tour.
