The Russian Federal Security Service in the southern region of Rostov arrested a Russian military suspected of spying for Ukraine.
Sputnik quoted the Russian security service as saying in a statement that the suspect was arrested in the city of Aksay in Rostov on suspicion of espionage, adding that he was accused of "collecting secret military information concerning the Russian armed forces."
A criminal case against the accused relating to “high treason” was opened under Russian criminal law.
