"Human scum": Trump insulted again ship and Democrats

2019-11-21T14:41:04.121Z

It is a well-known pattern: just before the hearings in the impeachment proceedings against him are resumed, US President Trump has sharply attacked his democratic adversaries.

Donald Trump has again attacked the Democratic Head of the Intelligence Committee at House Adam Schiff. Schiff, 59, is conducting the preliminary investigations into possible impeachment for abuse of power against the US president in the Ukraine. Trump called him "corrupt" and "the most dishonest man in politics" in two consecutive tweets.

"The lies of the corrupt politician Adam Schiff are growing day by day," Trump tweeted shortly before the hearings continued, including the testimony of former White House expert Fiona Hill.

The following sentence, in which the President does not directly attack Schiff, but which is nevertheless directly related to the Democrat, seems particularly disgusting. "Republicans, you are dealing with human scum," Trump wrote.

Corrupt politician Adam Schiff's are growing by the day. In the most unfair hearings in American History, the process of republican party rights is over.

The president is repeatedly criticized for the language he uses to attack political opponents and other people he feels threatened with. He is accused of fueling a climate of hate.

Recent statements have been made in the midst of impeachment hearings to determine if Trump has withheld a planned military aid to Ukraine as a lever to discredit his political rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

The ship under attack in Trump's tweets is at the center of the hearings, which could be the beginning of the end of Trump's presidency. Ten public testimonies on the Ukrainian affair have now been issued in the House of Representatives Secretariat on Ukraine Affairs (read what the witnesses said so far).
