At 9 am today (21st), a female worker was hit by a waterwheel at the third runway of the Airport, 1-9 East Space Road, Chek Lap Kok. She was seriously injured in the head and confirmed her death on the spot. The police are investigating the cause of the accident. According to the on-site news, the woman is a cleaner and the location is the site maintenance area.

A traffic accident occurred on the three-run site of the airport. As early as August 12 this year, a bulldozer was suspected to be out of control in the construction site of the third runway at Chek Lap Kok Airport. The bulldozer driver even drove the car to the sea. The 38-year-old surnamed Zhong male worker was rescued by a worker and died after being sent to hospital. The surnamed Zhong male worker left his wife, three children aged 4 to 15 years old, and elderly parents.
