The old man ran for dozens of meters and was taken off the police uniform. In the meantime, the two sides were entangled, and the old man was suspected of damaging the police officer’s face and was subdued by the nearby villagers. Police officers were present at the scene and found that many of the election banners were destroyed. The old man was arrested and was suspected of "attacking the police" and "criminal destruction". The case was handed over to the first team of the District Crime Squad of Tai Po.
