Yemeni children are being systematically killed by Saudi barbaric aggression, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, Sultan al-Sami said.

The world celebrates the International Children's Day and boasts of its victory for humanity by the final vote on the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, while children in Yemen are subjected to the fifth consecutive year of targeting and genocide by the US-backed Saudi aggression.

He added that childhood in Yemen is at its worst because of a brutal aggression and a hypocritical and silent world, pointing out that the meditator of the reality of childhood in Yemen is aware of the magnitude of the great tragedy and inhuman indifference by states and humanitarian and international organizations.

He explained that the large number of victims of the aggression on Yemen, mostly women and children, which puts a hundred question marks about the dubious silence on this humanitarian issue and the policy of double standards.

Al-Sami said that the barbaric aggression imposed on the children a miserable reality and deprived most of their legitimate rights in life such as education, health and others, and they have become a constant target of the raids of aggression that claimed thousands of children and left millions of humanitarian cases, which did not do justice to international organizations and rights.

The Saudi regime has continued its aggression against the Yemenis since 26 March 2015 with various types of weapons, leaving tens of thousands of civilian victims and humanitarian disasters at various levels.
