At least eight people have been killed by Bolivian coup security forces during protests by supporters of legitimate President Evo Morales in the western city of El Alto.
The incident was the result of the "genocidal policy" of the "dictatorial regime," President Morales was quoted by local media as saying in a tweet on his Twitter account.
The death brings to 18 the number of supporters and supporters of Morales since the 10th of this month and more than 110 injured.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet on Saturday condemned the "unnecessary and disproportionate use of force" by Bolivian police and military against protesters against the country's coup government.
