Mass rallies were held in several Iranian cities today in support of the leadership and condemnation of the riots.
Participants in the marches, which included the cities of Shiraz, Bandar Abbas, Kerman and Sistan Balogestan, slogans in which they expressed their support for government measures aimed at enhancing security and stability in the country and called for more attention to people's livelihood.
Participants also condemned the riots and their provocates, affirmed their rejection of them and their innocence of those who violated the security of the country and launched anti-American slogans.
The cities of Yasuj, Qom and Isfahan witnessed similar demonstrations in various streets, where participants condemned the troublemakers and riots and foreign interference in the affairs of Iran and defended the security and competence of the country.
