President Bashar al-Assad today issued Legislative Decree No. 23 of 2019 to add an amount of 20,000 Syrian pounds to the monthly salaries and wages cut for both civilian and military workers after adding the living compensation granted to the categories benefiting from the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 7 of 2017

Legislative Decree No. 23
President of the Republic
Based on the provisions of the Constitution
Draws the following ..
Article / 1 / Subject to the provisions of Articles / 1 / and / 2 / of the Legislative Decree
No. / 8 / of / 2018 / Add the living compensation granted to the categories
Beneficiaries of the provisions of Legislative Decree No. / 7 / of / 2015 / and provisions
Legislative Decree No. / 13 / of / 2016 / to the monthly salaries and wages
The date of the issuance of this Legislative Decree is considered part of it.
Article / 2 / The amount of / 20000 Syrian Pounds shall be added to the monthly salaries and wages
Calculated pieces according to the provisions of Article / 1 / of this Legislative Decree for each
Civilian and military personnel in ministries, departments and institutions
Public companies, public sector enterprises, municipalities and local administration units
Popular work, companies, confiscated enterprises and private schools seized
It shall seize once and for all those in the public sector as well as other entities
The common sector in which the State's contribution is not less than / 75 / percent of

Article / 3 /
A / The amount of / 20000 Syrian Pounds shall be added to the salaries and wages of the following categories.
1 / Viewers, daily and temporary, whether they are agents or accidental or
Seasonal or contracted employment or appointed with punctuation tables or under
Administrative instruments as well as those who work on a part-time or on-basis basis
Fixed and converted production or remuneration.
2 / The contractors are Syrian Arabs and the like when the salary or wage
The contracted monthly is not more than the monthly wage in which he appointed their ilk
Holders of the same certificate or qualification permanently with the contracting public authority
With them and taking into account the period elapsed on their graduation or obtaining the qualification.
B) The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor shall issue an agreement with the Minister of Finance
Decisions determining the method of calculating the increases on wages and day-to-day drip
On a part-time basis or on a production or fixed and wage basis
In accordance with the increases prescribed in this Legislative Decree, decisions shall be prepared
Issued in this regard effective from the date of its entry into force.
