This is how CNN transmitted the Persian Gulf War on television

On June 1, 1980, CNN was born. This was the first news program presented by husband and wife Lois Hart and David Walker. The most relevant news of that day was marked by problems in airlines and political primaries, but it was not until the coverage of the Persian Gulf War, in 1991, that the chain gained its reputation worldwide.
