Francys Valdivia, president of the Madres de Abril Association in Nicaragua, talks with Carmen Aristegui about the political and social crisis in the Central American country. Valdivia explained the circumstances in which a hunger strike has been taking place since November 14 by 13 mothers of political prisoners who were arrested in the province of Masaya. The parish priest of the besieged church denounced that he does not have medicines, water and electricity. The IACHR asked the Government of Daniel Ortega to guarantee respect for human rights.
