Hu Zhiwei mentioned that the government has always regarded public opinion as nothing in the past few months. It only relied on the police to suppress the society. It did not solve the current dilemma by political means. It believed that this move made the one country, two systems subject to international suspicion. Hu Zhiwei said that everyone does not want to solve the problem with violence. Because violence can't solve the problem, he stressed that it is necessary to clarify the current conflicts and the root causes of contradictions. It is the attitude of the government that does not listen to the public opinion and makes the social grievances accumulate.
The Government has elected the "Crisis Management Committee" for the district to advise the EAC on postponing elections, voting or counting of votes. Hu Zhiwei hopes that all parties will exercise restraint on the day of the election. He said that many people on the online platform have called for the election to do a good job in the elections, so that the society has a relatively peaceful atmosphere. He does not want anything to undermine the election.
