Defendant Li Changyuan (18, clerk) was charged with a crime of riots and a crime of possessing offensive weapons or tools suitable for illegal purposes. The charge said that Li was involved in riots at Houfu Street and other unknown people, and was accused of having a suspected petrol bomb, a furnace gas, a lighter and a hammer.

It is reported that police officers witnessed the defendant throwing petrol bombs at the police line. The police immediately subdued the defendant and found several petrol bombs beside them. During the chaos, police officers raised revolvers.

The prosecution alleged that the case was serious and opposed to bail, but in the end the court still allowed the defendant to pay 10,000 yuan in cash bail higher than the other defendants in the same case, and to comply with the curfew and the prohibition order together with other defendants.
