An investment delegation from the Sultanate of Oman headed by Dr. Mohammed Al-Khaldi, Chairman of Nass Group for Real Estate and Touristic Investments, reviewed the investment potentials available in Lattakia, especially tourism.
The delegation also visited Lattakia governorate on several investment sites on the coast of Lattakia, to Kassab town, in addition to a harsh landfill site that the governorate would like to invest through establishing a solid waste treatment plant.

He explained that his group is looking for investment prospects in Syria due to the promising potential and opportunities available well, especially in the field of tourism because of the multiple options as a result of the geographical location is important for the province of Lattakia rich in nature as well as the possibilities of benefiting from religious sites in this framework for the establishment of hotels and tourist resorts, which withdraws Also the governorates of Tartous and Damascus with the group's interest in the aspects of domestic and foreign tourism such as hotels and accompanying services.
Al-Khaldi pointed out that he met in Latakia concerned in the investment sector and the talks also touched on the possibility of establishing important projects in the industrial field, especially solid waste treatment.
Al-Khaldi noted the security that Syria is currently witnessing after visiting several governorates from Damascus to Lattakia, indicating that the Syrian people love life.
