For his part, Director of Social Affairs and Labor Issam Al-Hussein pointed out that “food assistance is a contribution from the Russian government to the people of Al-Hasakah province who were displaced as a result of the attacks of the Turkish regime and its mercenaries in order to relieve them and assist them and support the government relief efforts provided in this aspect, which has spared no effort since the first moments of the aggression. Al-Hussein pointed out that the number of displaced families from the northern countryside reached about 19 thousand families living in 84 temporary shelters and that the Directorate in cooperation with international organizations and charities and associations since the beginning of the Turkish aggression on the 19th of October last distributed 65 thousand food basket and 77 One thousand meals, 36 thousand sleeping mats, 106 thousand blankets in addition to sanitary baskets, several kitchen baskets, hygiene baskets, water tanks, disability chairs and many medical and therapeutic services for the displaced families.
