The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health announced today (22nd) that from the 15th to the 21st of this month, the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) confirmed five cases of imported dengue fever and one case of Chikungunya fever. As at yesterday (21st), a total of 191 confirmed cases of dengue fever and 11 confirmed cases of Chikungunya fever were recorded in Hong Kong.

2 patients have visited India and once went to Guangdong

The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health announced today (22nd) that from 15th to 21st of this month, the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) confirmed five cases of imported dengue fever. Two of the patients had travelled to India during the incubation period and the rest had visited Cambodia. Mainland Guangdong and Vietnam. A total of 190 cases of imported cases and a local case were reported in the same period last year (the same period last year). Foreign cases were mainly imported from Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.

The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health also recorded a case of Chikungunya fever, which was visited in India during the incubation period.
