The Lebanese army reopened the Masnaa border road today after it was closed with burning tires by protesters last night.
According to the Traffic Control Room of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces, the Lebanese army also reopened the Naameh highway in the two directions between Beirut and southern Lebanon and Qib Elias and Maksa road in the Bekaa, pointing out that all roads in the Bekaa and northern Lebanon are passable except for the Beddawi Highway, Nour Square and Halba in Tripoli.
The Lebanese army also reopened all the roads that protesters had traveled to Tripoli, Beddawi and Minieh to Akkar.
The Lebanese capital Beirut and a number of Lebanese areas in the north, the Bekaa and the south since 17 October last demonstrations against the deterioration of living conditions, including cut off roads and the closure of schools, banks and a number of institutions.
