At nightfall in Colombia, after the mass marches for the general strike against the reforms of the government of Iván Duque, the noise of pans began to be heard in various sectors of the capital Bogotá. Several people from their balconies and windows joined the peal as a way to prolong the protest from their homes, although numerous groups also walked the streets with their pans and shouting slogans against the government. Outside of Colombia in the Mexican capital, a small contingent of Colombians also protested with cacerolazos, banners and songs.
