(CNN Spanish) - Uruguay is heading this Sunday to historic elections that could change the political map of the country, after 15 years of government of the Frente Amplio center-left. In a country as small and at the same time diverse as Uruguay, campaigns are carried out in large mass events, in social networks but, above all, in town-to-town tours.

Or, vote by vote, as the official candidate Daniel Martínez, who tries to keep his party in power, has called his campaign. Thus, he says he intends to move forward with the positive results, in terms of reducing inequality and poverty, among other issues, which led the outgoing government.

We shared a day with Martínez and this is what happened:

For his part, the center-right leader Luis Lacalle Pou, criticizes that management and says that the time has come for change. Thus, he intends that the "traditional parties" of Uruguay, return to power, and at the same time that his last name returns to the presidency, after his father held it in 1990, in a very controversial government.

For this, he has the support of four other opposition parties, in which he calls "the multicolored coalition."

How is a day with Lacalle Pou? Here the images:

That is the story of both, and that is the message that they carry to each town, to each city, in a colorful campaign throughout the country.
