Amazon.com has sued the Pentagon over a $ 10 billion cloud computing contract awarded to rival Microsoft Corp. after pressure from US President Donald Trump.
"The awarding process for Microsoft includes clear shortcomings and flaws with unequivocal bias," the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Amazon's competitive bid for the Cloud War project drew criticism from Trump, who ordered the Pentagon in the summer of 2019 to take Amazon out of the contract because of major disagreements between him and company director Jeff Bezos.
