The Syrian Virtual University and the Excellence and Creativity Commission today announced the registration requirements for the 2020 Programming Marathon for Children and Adolescents.

The university and the Authority said in a statement today that SANA received a copy of it that registration is available to all those wishing to participate in the categories of children from 8 to 11 years and adolescents 12 to 15 years, noting that registration does not include any fees and continues until the 10th of December.

According to the statement, training centers will be provided in various governorates and regions with the start of the first stages of the marathon, which is being held in cooperation with the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The new season of the program will run for children and adolescents during the first month of 2020 and is expected to include 5,000 children and adolescents after the last season included 1573.

The Syrian Virtual University and the Excellence and Innovation Commission announced last week the launch of a training program for the program's marathon trainers in its new season in order to provide appropriate training for children and adolescents participating in the marathon on various software technologies and mechanisms of logical thinking in order to support the ability of young Syrian and emerging youth to compete globally and expand the popular base of programming at various Age segments.
