Daraa province distributed humanitarian aid to the needy families and families of the martyrs and the wounded in Alakin town of northern Daraa countryside provided by the Russian government, while the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch delivered a new batch of food aid to 7 towns in the province.

The representative of the Russian Coordination Center said in a press statement to the depth of Russian-Syrian relations, stressing Russia's continued assistance to the Syrian people, especially families affected by terrorism.

For his part, the representative of the Russian Martyr Ahmed Kadyrov Charitable Association pointed out that the symbolic assistance given to those affected by terrorism reflects the sincere relations between the Russian and Syrian peoples and expresses support for the steadfastness of the Syrians in the face of terrorism.

The Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Daraa, Nibal Al-Hariri, pointed out that the aid is 1500 rations to the neediest families and the families of the martyrs and the wounded distributed between food baskets, school bags, winter clothes and harams, expressing thanks to the leadership and people of Russia for providing symbolic gifts to the Syrian people, which contributed Syria's victory over terrorism and its supporters.

In the same context, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Daraa today introduced a new batch of humanitarian assistance to the neediest people in seven towns in the governorate countryside provided by the World Food Program.

The head of the Red Crescent branch, Dr. Ahmad Al-Masalmeh, told SANA today that a convoy of 14 trucks arrived in 7 towns, delivering food aid, bags of flour and a quantity of food supplements. For the people of the town of Hirak, 800 pictured, 1250 in Nahta and 800 in Um Al Mayadin, indicating that the number of families benefiting from the aid is 9500.

On the eighteenth of this month, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch entered an aid convoy of 10 trucks carrying 6050 food baskets and similar flour to the towns of Atman and Khirbet Ghazaleh.
