(CNN) - The American Music Awards will have on Sunday some important performances, old and new musicians and, of course, a Taylor Swift drama.

Here is everything you need to know about one of the most important music nights in the United States:

Where to watch the ceremony

The awards will air this Sunday, November 24 at 8 pm ET on ABC.

Who is the hostess?

Ciara

Ciara will present the show this year.

Who will act?

Viewers will be able to see a wide combination of performances, including those of Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers, Camilla Cabello, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Thomas Rhett, Shania Twain and a highly anticipated number of Taylor Swift.

Talking about swift

The singer prepares to interpret a medley of her successes, but will she include the songs that are now owned by Big Machine Records and Scooter Braun? You can do it, but it is not clear if you will do so after a public dispute with your old seal. In a statement released on Monday, Big Machine Records said it "had agreed to grant all licenses for its artists' performances to broadcast after the program and broadcast it on mutually approved platforms."

Post Malone leads the nominations with seven in total. Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish continue with six. Swift has five nominations and will also receive the Artist Award of the Decade.
