The Democratic Party retreats from the party, Zhuang Ronghui is a key figure
Zhuang Ronghui played in the "Jianmo" constituency in the Central and Western District in 2003 and 2007, but the two sessions were defeated by 7 votes and 148 votes respectively. In 2011, he moved to the "Western Ring" to challenge the then-famous DAB Zhang Guofan, and finally Zhang Guofan Zeng Ronghui was elected by the difference of 24 votes. In 2015, Zhuang Ronghui once again challenged Zhang Guofan in the "Western Ring" and lost again with 113 votes.
He Zhuang Ronghui was transferred from the Democratic Party’s Hong Kong Island branch to the New Territories East Branch to assist the party’s friend Lin Zhuo Ting in the Legislative Council. In August last year, the Democratic New East Branch broke the "double-head" incident, triggering 59 people to withdraw from the Democratic Party, and Zhuang Ronghui was the focus of the incident. At that time, Zhuang Ronghui wanted to select the Sai Kung Metropolitan Constituency in the district. However, Li Bozhen, a member of the Democratic Watch Group of Tseung Kwan O, "hit the district". Later, some people proposed to the Democratic Party Central Committee to recommend the Tseung Kwan O Democratic Concern Group as a "Participating Organization". After being passed, members of the Democratic Party were also members of the Concern Group, and forced the members of the Concern Group, Mr. Ke Yaolin, who had followed Liu Huiqing for many years, and Ding Shiyuan, who was also the convener of the "Shatian District Government", to quit the party.
After more than a year of sawing in the "Dushan" constituency in Saigon, it was still unable to resolve the collision zone problem. Zhang Zhanpeng, who was re-elected by the competition, defeated 927 votes of Li Baizhen and 1,741 votes of Zhuang Ronghui with 2,568 votes. All are defeated. Zhuang Ronghui apologized to the supporters after the defeat, saying that there are negative supporters and friends' expectations, and that the defeat will be caused by many reasons. He will review it deeply. "Give me some time!"
Shengkang counting process is controversial
Although the establishments were defeated in the elections, they also had the example of success in the "successful". The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, Mr Leung Ka-ming, was defeated in the Kwai Tsing Hing Fong District, the three-war Democratic Party, Wu Jiansheng. He moved to Shengkang District this year, from his father Liang Weiwen. In the end, Liang Jiaming defeated the democratic Zhao Baoqin by 114 votes. However, the counting process caused controversy, and the station director decided to validate more than 500 question tickets, which made Zhao Baoqin eventually defeated by the lead. After the election, Zhao Baoqin said that he would not give up his rights, including considering submitting an election petition.
