Last updated: 2019-11-26 07:20A fatal car accident in Tsing Yi. At about 4.34 am, a white private car was driving along the Changqing Highway towards the New Territories. On the way to the entrance of the Changqing Tunnel, the runway shook the divider in the middle of the road and flew 15 meters like a "cannonball", rushing across the lane towards Kowloon in the opposite direction, tumbling and slamming into the side of the pipeline.
After the accident, the entire car was severely damaged. Two women and one man in the car reportedly bathed in the blood. Two of the female passengers were seriously trapped and blood cloaked. They needed to be rescued by the fire door. One fell into a coma and was sent back to the hospital for rescue.
The driver involved in the case suffered minor injuries to his hand and refused to be sent to hospital afterwards. It is reported that he had alcohol, but did not exceed the standard after "Blow Bobo". Police are investigating the cause of the accident. Afterwards, relatives and friends of the male rushed to understand and once stopped the media from shooting.
It is reported that at the time of the incident, the Changqing Tunnel was implementing a "single tube and two-way" driving. All vehicles need to use a side pipe in the direction of Kowloon and vehicles in the New Territories need to be temporarily diverted at the tunnel entrance.
