The Russian President's Special Representative for Middle East and African Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed with Syrian Ambassador in Moscow, Dr. Riad Haddad, the development of the situation in Syria and the prospects of the political process.
A statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry said that "Bogdanov discussed with Haddad in Moscow today some urgent issues to continue to strengthen Russian-Syrian cooperation to serve the interests of the reconstruction habit in Syria and provide the appropriate conditions to accelerate the return of displaced Syrians to their homeland."
