Syrian-Iranian talks on cooperation in the field of public works and housing

The Minister of Public Works and Housing Eng. Suhail Abdul Latif discussed with the Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Affairs Gholamreza Ansari areas of bilateral cooperation between Syria and Iran, especially in the field of public works and housing.

During the meeting, Abdul Latif stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in light of the siege and coercive economic measures unilaterally, expressing Syria's determination to restore infrastructure and rebuild what was destroyed by terrorism in cooperation with its allies, especially after the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army.

Abdul Latif pointed out that there are areas of cooperation and benefit from the mutual experiences between the two countries in the field of construction and urban development, pointing to the need to find joint companies in the field of studies and construction, which ensures the continuity of cooperation to reach the desired results.

For his part, Ansari called for continued work to achieve economic integration by taking advantage of the potential between the two countries and the contribution of the public and private sectors in the residential sector.

Abdullatif also discussed with Advisor to the First Vice President of Iran and Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Syrian-Iranian-Iraqi Relations Hassan Dana'i, the prospects for the development of bilateral relations, especially in the field of housing and public works, pointing out that the development of a roadmap for joint work contributes to achieve a qualitative leap in the bilateral The two.

For his part, Dana'i expressed the desire of the private and governmental sectors in Iran to contribute to the reconstruction of Syria and the development of bilateral relations, noting at the same time the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism.

Danai Farr stressed the failure of the enemies' plans to target Iran, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. "We have failed their plans and illusions through the awareness of the Iranian people and their cohesion with their leadership. They also failed in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon will fail to target Iran and the axis of resistance always."

The meetings were attended by Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Dr. Adnan Mahmoud.
