At the behest of President Bashar al-Assad, Speaker of the People's Assembly Hamouda Sabbagh offered condolences to the family of the People's Assembly member Ahmad Dib Qabbani who passed away on Sunday evening.
Sabbagh conveyed the condolences of President al-Assad to the family of the deceased, who was known for his national and humanitarian stances and his dedication to work for serving his countrymen under the dome of the council and defending the country and its issues in all the positions he occupied.
The families of the deceased and his family expressed their sincere thanks to the generous gesture of President al-Assad and everyone who shared their sympathy with the late deceased, which had a great impact on them.
