The U.S. Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and the Institute (Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation) released a poll on November 26, in which 68% of American respondents said that even if they sinned Beijing, they also support Washington support for Hong Kong demonstrators.

Polls show that 68% of US respondents agree with Washington ’s support for Hong Kong demonstrators and only 14% support the Chinese government. If China ’s military operations in Hong Kong escalate, 69% of respondents support economic sanctions against China, and 59% support security assistance.

The poll also mentioned the Taiwan issue. If China sends troops to Taiwan, 76% of respondents support recognition of Taiwan as an independent country, 64% of respondents support economic sanctions, and 55% of respondents support the transfer of US military assets to the region.

For the Sino-US trade war, 49% of the respondents expressed support and 46% of them expressed opposition. At the same time, 72% of respondents were concerned that the trade war caused instability in Sino-US relations and increased the chance of conflict. In terms of geopolitical opponents, 28% of respondents believe China is the biggest threat, followed by Russia.
