(CNN Spanish) - Just four days after completing his first year of office, the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, reflected on what he considers were the most difficult moments he has experienced during his administration.

In the morning press conference on Wednesday, the president specified that the explosion in Hidalgo, the confrontation in Sinaloa, the attack on the LeBarón family and the asylum granted to the former president of Bolivia Evo Morales have been the most challenging situations of exercise in the presidency.

The explosion of a gas pipeline in Tlahuelilpan, Hidalgo, because of a clandestine takeover, an event where 137 people lost their lives, was one of the most difficult moments. "The most painful of all, the one that hit me the most in the intimate," López Obrador added.

The confrontation on October 17 in Culiacán, Sinaloa, caused by criminal groups during the failed operation to detain the son of "El Chapo" Guzmán, Ovidio Guzmán, was pointed out by the president of Mexico as the "shortest war in the history". He said it was very complicated because of the decisions made in such a difficult situation.

“The war that broke out in Sinaloa was the shortest war in history, a four-hour war. It was complicated because we made decisions in difficult circumstances, but we considered that it acted well, ”said the president.

The murder of 3 women and 6 children of the LeBarón family was another strong and qualified situation of "unfortunate tragedy" by the Mexican president and included this massacre in the list of the most complicated moments in his first year in office. He also added that they continue to act to clarify the facts in order to seek justice.

In addition, he mentioned the decision to grant asylum to the ex-president of Bolivia Evo Morales listed by López Obrador as "timely and adequate, attached to its foreign policy principles for the protection of persecuted politicians."

Finally, he described as "a delicate moment" the "unilateral threat" of the administration of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to impose tariffs on Mexican products.

At the end of his balance, López Obrador asked for another year to "lay the foundations for the transformation of the country."
