Assistant Secretary-General of the Baath Arab Socialist Party Hilal Hilal stressed the need to strengthen cooperation relations with the United Russia party, noting that the two parties have wide areas of cooperation and joint work, especially at the political and economic level.
During a meeting with the leadership of the United Russia party in Moscow, Al-Hilal said that these meetings constitute a step forward between the two parties and contribute to building party relations that serve the interests of Syria and Russia and that party relations are on the way to qualitative development as required by the interest of cooperation against American aggression.
For his part, Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia Party Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Andrei Turchak stressed the importance of focusing joint efforts on economic and social issues, expressing the readiness of the United Russia party to strengthen cooperation with the Baath Arab Socialist Party.

The meeting was attended by members of the Central Command of the Baath Arab Socialist Party Ammar Al-Sibai, Yasser Al-Shoufi and Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Dr. Riad Haddad.
