Damascus University today announced the conditions and procedures for applying to the differentiation of the educational qualification diploma “open and parallel education” at the Faculty of Education for the academic year 2019-2020.
In a declaration received by SANA, the university indicated that the student should have a degree from a Syrian university in a required specialization or an equivalent degree from a college or higher institute recognized by the Damascus University Council.
The university allowed the graduates of the results of the additional exams of the academic year 2018-2019 to apply for this trade-off, indicating that students holding non-Syrian university degrees are not considered acceptable unless their certificates are equivalent and students wishing to apply for a trade-off include paying $ 25,000 in advance on fees. Undergraduate This advance is given in case of non-acceptance and the advance is not returned to the pre-trade-off and disapproved.
The university's announcement included the proposed numbers for admission in the required specializations: 15 students in each of philosophy, political sciences, fine arts, psychology, psychological counseling, curriculum, teaching techniques, planning, educational management and special education, 20 students in sociology, geography, history, chemistry, biology and 30 students in each language. Arabic and English.
The university also specified the required number in the specialties of kindergarten 50, teacher class 45, mathematics 35 and 10 students in each of the Russian language and physical education, planning and educational management, Sharia, theology and music education.
The university pointed out that the submission of applications for trade-off starts from today until the fifth of December next.
