Midland estimates that overall property registrations are expected to return to 6,000 in November. Liu Jiahui, chief analyst of Midland Realty, believes that due to the time taken to sign the sale and purchase agreement and submit it to the Land Registry for registration, the registration cases in November mainly reflect the market conditions in October. The future market conditions of the entire Hong Kong property market will gradually emerge from this month's registration data.
According to statistics, the number of second-hand residential registrations on the first 26 days of November was 3,100, which was about 9.5% higher than the 2,830 cases in October. The number of cases has rebounded from a low of 2,235 registered in September this year, rising for two consecutive months.
After the policy address, more than 1,800 new units were sold, which was nearly double the number before the announcement.
