In a statement to Sana, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus, Uday Shibli said that the Directorate's patrols are intensifying their presence in all the city's markets. Which is observed after salary increases.

Shibli said that hundreds of complaints reach the directorate every day 90 percent of them are right, where serious and immediate dealing with any complaint received whatever they are and verified, indicating that in the case of proven violation or the immediate closure and waxing any store proves selling at excessive prices.
