The death toll from the earthquake in western Albania has risen to 35.
New bodies were recovered from the rubble of the earthquake that hit Albania's coastal cities and caused damage along the Adriatic coast in Durres and Thoman, the Albanian Daily News reported in its edition on Monday.
Earlier death toll from the quake, which hit 6.4 on the Richter scale, put 25 people dead and more than 600 injured.
About 45 people were rescued from the rubble as search and rescue teams continued to work overnight in the affected areas despite bad weather and rain, government spokesmen said.
An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit Albania on September 21, destroying a number of houses and damaging about 500.
