The Libyan House of Representatives denounced the two memorandums of understanding in the security and maritime fields signed by the government of Al-Wefaq yesterday with the Turkish regime, stressing its rejection of them because they violate the constitutional declaration and the political agreement between the Libyan parties.

The Libyan House of Representatives said in a statement on the website of the Libyan central portal that `` the Government of Concord or others shall not have the right to sign any agreement with a foreign country without the approval and adoption of the legislative authority by the Parliament, '' stressing that the signature was also in contravention of the unconstitutional political agreement that emerged from the Government of Concord.

The statement pointed out that the signing of such an invalid agreement under the Constitution and Libyan laws comes "within the framework of the Turkish regime's violation of international resolutions banning arming in Libya and continued support for the declared armed militia outlaws and an attempt to circumvent the relevant UN Security Council resolutions," calling on the Secretary-General of the United Nations and President The Security Council and the international community to stop the Turkish intervention in Libya, which is in the interest of armed militias and extremists and does not serve the interests of the Libyan people.

The Libyan army announced a few days ago the destruction of air defense facilities belonging to the Turkish regime in the city of Misrata, east of the Libyan capital Tripoli, while the Libyan army spokesman Colonel Ahmed al-Mesmari on more than one occasion that the Turkish regime continues to support terrorism in Libya, calling on him not to interfere in internal Libyan affairs.
