Three staff members of the two Chinese colleges of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a proprietor of a decoration company involved concealing relatives and providing false quotations for 50 small-scale engineering orders with a total value of about 2.2 million yuan. Four persons were charged with misconduct by public officials, conspiracy to defraud, and forgery of paperwork. They have appeared in the Shatian court today (29th) and need not answer for the time being. The case was referred to the District Court and a reply will be made next month. Everyone was released on bail, and no prosecution witnesses were allowed during the period. The ICAC must be notified the day before departure.

Li She did not disclose that the owner of the decoration company is his brother-in-law

The accused CUHK staff members are Li Yishan (age 43), director of Wu Yisun College, Shi Xiaofeng (age 40), administrative director of the same college, and Liang Youcheng (age 36), coordinator of the secondary plan of Shanheng College. The accused decoration company owner Peng Zhaoheng (age 38) is Li Yanshan's brother-in-law.

Lee was charged with one count of misconduct by a public official and another count of fraud. Peng was charged with five counts of forgery and two other counts of conspiracy to defraud, both with Shi and Liang.

Peng's company accused of obtaining multiple goods and services

The charge is that the crowd committed the crime between September 2013 and January 2017. Peng Zhaoheng is the sole proprietor of New Life Creative Design Building (New Life), Bisi Design Engineering Company (Bisi), Mingshi Design Studio (Mingshi) and Pink Lemon Production House (Pink Lemon). Li Weiyou declared his relationship with Peng and approved the proposal to purchase 7 items of goods or services from New Life, involving more than RMB 190,000.

Peng and Shi and Liang conspired to defraud CUHK, and lied that the quotations submitted by the five companies for the purchase of 47 goods or services were true. Peng is also suspected of making five false quotations from three other decoration companies in an attempt to induce others to accept them as genuine documents.
