The Center for Measurement and Evaluation at the Ministry of Higher Education today conducted the Unified Nursing Exam for October 2019 for the fourth year students in the nursing faculties of the Syrian public and private universities.
The Director General of the Center, Dr. Maysoon Dashash, said that the number of applicants for the exam reached 611 students, distributed in three exam centers.
According to Dr. Dashash, students underwent a 100-degree written examination in accordance with the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS), which establishes minimum knowledge and practical skills in the areas of Internal and Surgical Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Nursing Administration.
The student's success and obtaining fifty percent is a prerequisite for graduation.
