(CNN Español) - The Live Aqua Urban Resort hotel in Mexico City was the venue for Turner Latin America to present the series that can be seen on its various channels in 2020.

Under the motto “More Stories, More Experiences, New Connections” Sharon Zyman, general manager & VP Ad Sales Mexico and Colombia, said that in Turner Latin America, which is part of WarnerMedia as well as CNN in Spanish, “we love and live the content and we are stronger than ever with a renewed team made up of leaders with a clear and avant-garde vision of the entertainment market, which makes this 2020 our original content and production strategy focus on multiscreen formats and with local flavor. ”

During the event we talked about some of the productions that will live in this ecosystem next year; such as "Moorings", "The Girl that Cleans", "Las Bravas" and "Particular Crowd", in addition to extending its season of awards with Spotify Awards, content that will allow to create new stories and connect with the audience.

New Series

"Moorings"
Gabriela de la Garza, Juan Pablo Medina and Hugo Catalán lead the cast of this dramedy that will be released in the second quarter of 2020 by TNT. With the motto “Love is a magic thing”, she seeks to give a different, fresh, fun and, at the same time, dramatic vision of the Mexican family with the story of Ana, the granddaughter of an old mooring in the Sonora market of Mexico who, desperate for her economic situation, decides to recover the family tradition to prevent her children from taking custody of her ex-husband. That family tradition consists in carrying out the spells known as "moorings", spells through which a person, with faculties to do so, 'ties' two hearts. It could be any job, but, by opening the door, Ana also opens up to a magical world, inherited but at the same time strange, known and yet new, with her own codes and rules that she will have to know and learn to handle.

“Amarres” is the first of three projects that Dopamine will produce for Turner Latin America. The other two are "Coyotl", a supernatural drama that addresses a serious social reality in the background: the border conflict between Mexico and the United States; and "Your share of the deal", a thriller starring empowered women created and developed by Dopamine and produced by Polka.

“The Girl that Cleanses”

Rosa is a maid with a OCD - obsessive compulsive disorder - with cleanliness and order. Due to the fates of fate, cleaning one day in a house, he enters a room and runs into a crime scene. A murder that has just developed and when trying to leave the site, the murderers arrive and when they are going to kill her, she tells them that she can turn her accomplice and clean without a trace thanks to the neat cleaning that characterizes her. "Although today there are many productions, one as an actor wants to be in the best stories that are exciting and interesting, but with endearing characters," says Damayanti Quintanar, the protagonist of the series.

The Girl that Cleans is the adaptation of a celebrated Argentine production created by Paola Suárez, Lucas Combina, Greta Molas and Irene Guissara for Jaque Content.

“Las Bravas”
Conformed by 8 chapters of 45 minutes, this fiction series where the themes of self-improvement, the importance of roots and teamwork are the main axes of the story. “Las Bravas” is a soccer team made up of women, whose dream is to win the regional women's soccer championship; and those of Roberto Velarde, Mexican elite footballer, retired for a heart condition, maniacal, hedonistic, superstitious and ruined, who is forced by a bet to be his coach (although for him, women's football; neither is football nor is it female). A man used to having everything he has to return to his small town where he will discover again who he is and transform the life of a team of teenage players with more passion than technique.

“Las Bravas” is the first co-production between Turner Latin America and MEDIAPRO, the leading audiovisual group in Europe

Came back…

The reality show “Parrilleros” that can be seen every Sunday at 9:00 pm (Mexico only) on the SPACE channel, under the guidance of Mexican chef Antonio de Livier, has already confirmed a second season for 2020.

The objective of "Parrilleros" is to challenge various people to face each other and whoever wins this challenge must face a challenge with the chef, but here who decides who wins is not a group of recognized chefs who judge the presentation of the saucer, the cooking point or if the meat is in its juice. No, those who decide which dish is the best, are ordinary people who are in the street.

Another news that was announced at this event is the production house “Particular Crowd” in the United States, which has already produced 40 films in English that will be dubbed into Spanish for Latin America and the production of 60 films by 2020.

Do not miss what TNT and SPACE, channels that are part of WarnerMedia, like CNN in Spanish, will have by 2020. This is only the beginning of what can be seen from the channels that are part of Turner Latin America.
