From the BBC's 2020 recommendation: "In recent years, Tel Aviv has grown into a vegan capital by itself"

The city of Tel Aviv is ranked among the top 10 food destinations in the world by the BBC for 2020, and it has been awarded it by being the "vegan capital", as they have declared it on the news site, the world's leading.
Tel Aviv's renowned world-class neighbors are Galway (Ireland), Lyon (France), Los Cabos (Mexico), the Netherlands, Malta, Marrakech, Scotland, Porto and Cadis (Spain).

In a recommendation on Tel Aviv, it reads that "the vegan dishes among the Tel Aviv culinary make the city attractive for vegetarian and vegan vacationers. In recent years, Tel Aviv has grown to become a vegan capital in its own right."
Eitan Schwartz, CEO of World City and Tourism, told Israel Today that "for the past five years, Tel Aviv has been the 'day of the day' in all the major food ratings in the world, and those who have been in our restaurants recently see long queues of tourists from all over the world. This is especially true with regard to the vegetarian and vegan scene in the city, which is considered one of the world's leading because of the huge variety and great freshness of vegetables and fruits. In recent years, the Ministry of Tourism and we have emphasized Tel Aviv culinary in all our campaigns - and this is undoubtedly a winning recipe. "
