At 10:56 am today (2nd), a white private car drove outside the jewellery store on the ground floor of No. 282 Castle Peak Road, Changsha Bay. Two thieves with hammers got out of the car and quickly exploded the window cabinet. The thief snatched a batch of gold worth about 3 million yuan and jumped back to the private car and fled. The staff was alarmed and the police arrived to the scene. After preliminary investigation, the case was robbed and handed over.

No one was arrested for the time being.

Police are looking for three men who were wearing peak caps and masks and wearing black tops, black pants and black shoes.

This is the second similar case in two days. At 3:41 pm yesterday (1st), a red taxi drove across a jewellery and gold shop at 245 To Kwa Wan Road. Four were aged between 20 and 30. The thief in black, black pants and a mask, scared the staff with a watermelon knife, smashed the window glass with a hammer, robbed about 2 million gold wares, and boarded the red to escape. The 55-year-old surnamed Chen Jinxing reported to the police that no one was injured. The police received the report and investigated the case. The case was listed as robbery. The case was followed up by the Kowloon City Police District Squad and no one was arrested.
